Our expectations were well met as the food, particularly the duck main, was outstanding. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was amazing, especially my fish and chips! From start to finish, this place is exceptional. We received a friendly welcome, all the staff are attentive and the whole ambience is warm and inviting. We sat in the lower dining room and the food was absolutely excellent and fantastic value. The restaurant was accomodating to our requests prior to arrival and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace to have coffee afterwards. I think this is a new family favourite!!
