Very warm greeting from the waiting staff who allowed us to pick our preferred seats, and once seated, it wasn't long before the very friendly manager came and offered a personal greeting, as well as recommendations of certain fresh items from the seasonal menu. The bar staff kept the refreshing cocktails coming, all with a distinct, personal touch that makes them all very moorish. (Especially with 2-4-1 on Fridays). It wasn't a long wait until our starters arrived, and that just teased the appetite for our amazing steak mains. There is no debate that they have earned the title 'Steakhouse'. Both Black Angus fillet steaks were cooked to perfection with plenty of trimmings that left us both too full for dessert. After eating, we stuck around for the live music they have every Friday and yet again, we were not disappointed!! And combine that with more cocktails, it was a wonderful way to spend an evening and worth every penny!! They did try to take care of us by closing the door when it was left open but it was still chilly. There were 7 of us and we arrived slightly early but this was no trouble and we were seated a few minutes early. Service was good - and the Sunday roasts were great with plenty of vegetables and giant Yorkshire Puddings.
