Restaurants à Uppingham

We had the carvery, offered 2 choices of meat. I had beef & gammon, unfortunately no lamb. But plenty was dished up on plate with a Yorkshire pudding & stuffing. Lots of veg to choose from, swede, broccoli, runner beans & cauliflower cheese. There was also dauphinose potatoes & lots of roast potatoes, topped off with a thick gravy. I piled my plate high & it was delicious! There was lots of staff bringing drinks & clearing plates. Highly recommend.

Went there for the first time with my wife, Brother & Sister in-law. We all thought that the food was amazing, the staff were really attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed. Prices were in line with most other places we've been to and for the quality of the food we thought it was definitely worth every penny.

The Old Pheasant was exceptional. It has been under new management since August. Bernard is in charge and incredibly passionate about the service, providing affordability and a high standard of fresh food. The hotel rooms have been redecorated to a very high standard and are very affordable. We had a wonderful evening here and will be back! Tom and Anna
