Restaurants à Titchwell

Very nice experience, 3 of us went and were all very happy with what we ate and drunk. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. This is a bit of a hidden gem as we found it while travelling around. Will be coming back very soon!! Highly recommend

Nest Farmhouse is an exciting new addition to Norfolk’s dining scene. We have now dined here twice, with two more reservations upcoming. We loved the location in the middle of agricultural fields in a renovated cow shed. Wildflower gardens and ornamental pond are lovely too. Weather hasn’t been nice enough to have an aperitif outdoors, but we keep hoping for that. Inside is a stylish but cosy interior with friendly staff. Dogs are welcome, which is a big positive in our book, even though we haven’t brought ours yet. Menu isn’t huge, with 4 starters and 4 mains on offer for the most part, but there’s something for almost everybody, including vegetarian options. We had the lamb sharing dish, with Herdwick lamb prepared several ways, which was to die for. Our second visit, we had the rib of beef to share for Sunday lunch, and again it was delectable — sliced and served rare, with marrow bones and the very best roast potatoes I’ve ever had, Yorkshire pudding, delicious gravy and vegetables. For starters we’ve had the beetroot salad with goat cheese both times, as we love roast beetroot. It’s been quite busy both times we’ve visited but the staff maintain a cheerful efficiency. Our new local favourite!

The first time we have eaten here although it’s a favourite of many people we know. We had a lovely table in the restaurant by the window for an early lunch on a Friday. It was initially quiet but filled up and there was a relaxed ambience I had Coley with a seafood gravy, which was new to the menu that day. It was absolutely delicious and the buttered greens I chose were a great accompaniment. My partner had the dressed crab and rated it very highly. He loves crab. We will be back

I booked a meal here for my partners birthday. We are local to Norfolk but just fancied getting away for a night to the country. We stayed overnight in one the rooms available at the Duck. (I reviewed this positively on AirBNB). The restaurant has a lovely buzz to it with a hard working attentive team. There was some excellent advice on the wine which we took and had an excellent bottle of red with our meal. The food was lovely, it was tasty and really had that fresh vibrant feel to all the ingredients. Really excellent meal. We'll definitely get back there for a roast following a windy walk in the autumn.

We were given the choice of our reserved table inside or a table in the garden where we could watch and enjoy Nelson’s Shantymen. We chose to sit outside and the evening was great. Thank you.
