The ambiance was nice and open and the tables still felt Private. Cindy was a great server and had great and helpful knowledge of the menu and helped us make some amazing choices. The food let me tell you was outstanding. My wife had their Chicken with Mushrooms and rice pilaff and I had their Cod with asparagus risotto and it was to die for. The portion sizes are normally disappointing in a higher end restaurant but not here, so come hungry. I wish we had room for the desert as they sounded amazing. Lastly I would like to say a little something about Scott he was their beverage and wine manager and help with an amazing wine that accompanied both our meals. Not only is he a wealth of knowledge he was super friendly and really wanted us to enjoy our experience. I would highly recommend The Vista by Chef Denis. Server Claire in Orangeville was lovely, just overrun with a section she didn't know she had. She still did an excellent job. The garlic bread pull apart was good, but for $10 should have had more of everything. Sadly the ribs were dry and I had to ask for more sauce on my extra sauce ribs. The corn bread and fries were sub par as well, and a bread was missing on a critical plate. Three of us had the same ribs, our fourth had a perfectly cooked steak. They were not the birthday boy and girl. We had no acknowledgment of our double birthday either. Bit disappointing. Kitchen needs to really get it together. We had quite the wait, they had time to get it done right. The service and food were excellent. I can’t recall our server’s name but she was so sweet and accommodating.
