The service was very slow. We were the only customers to start with and we were not provided with menus. I went and got them myself after waiting 10 minutes. The slow service continued through the evening. The staff were friendly and cheerful. The food was delicious and good portion size. One of the party ordered the sticky date pudding for dessert which was disappointing. It was dry and not sticky at all. The miso and caramel cheesecake was sensational. We ordered a main & a small plate and shared between the 2 of us. Which was a lovely meal. Beside our table was a cutlery tray for staff to collect new cutlery for tables. I found it was quite noisy when staff collected the cutlery to dress tables when I was eating my dinner.
