Matthew was our server and he wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and the daily specials. He provided great service and perfectly timed our meal. It was very delicious and relaxing.

Love the fried asparagus. The pesto on the chicken pesto sandwich was somewhat runny. Otherwise ok

My guest and I were seated across from the bar. Food and service was great except for the bartender who spoke VERY loudly. It was laughable at first until it became annoying.

Meh.The food wasn’t that great and neither was the service. My miso salmon was cooked fine but both the fish and the sauce were tasteless. Brussels sprouts were oily. Butterscotch Pot de crème sounded intriguing- and wasn’t bad….but pretzels and caramel corn with it? Huh? I expected more from this restaurant and with so many other restaurants to choose from, this one won’t be at the top of my list.

Food and service were both great. We sat in a high top to the side of the bar and the noise level was just right for talking without sacrificing atmosphere.

I ordered the Pimento Cheese/Guacamole appetizer which was good, but this was where I should have stopped. Unfortunately, I also ordered a $23 Chicken Cobb Salad which was the poorest excuse for a Cobb Salad I've ever had. It was basically a huge mound of mixed lettuces (mostly baby spinach) with some fried chicken nuggets on top. After digging to the bottom of the lettuce mound, I DID find a couple of slivers of bacon, one or two cherry tomato halves, and a couple of small avocado pieces. That was it. I literally had to dig to find anything other than lettuce or the chicken nuggets. The service was fine, but overall the experience was extremely disappointing - both in terms of food quality and value. Over several years I have had mixed experiences at Neighborhood Services and I think this will be my last visit. There are too many other restaurants in Dallas that do a better job.
