The InnThe Inn is full of old world charm with little hidden nucks for dining. This restaurant is full of character and is used at lunch times primarily, but in the evenings, it offers a cosy ambiance lit by candle light ideal for a more casual approach to dining.The Inn also offers an afternoon tea which is simply divine. Served between 2pm-5pm by prior bookings only.The Bar and Snug is a relaxed and super cosy space sticking with the old charm of the Inn which this part of the building offers.     We both chose the set menu. 3 courses with good options was excellent value for money. The prawn cocktail was particularly good. The highlight was the sticky toffee dessert which I can honestly say is the best I have ever had. Choices for the main course were not overly exciting but beautifully presented. I opted for the haddock served in a cheese sauce which I enjoyed. The service was excellent, friendly but non intrusive. The dining room was full yet we were served promptly and made to feel welcome. The dining room itself is a special treat overlooking the lake.

    Amazing food, drinks, and incredibly friendly waiters and bar staff always being polite and welcoming. We had a lovely meal and would definitely go back

    Our 2nd time visiting since The Ryebeck reopened and we were not disappointed. We went with friends for Sunday lunch, the food and staff were exceptional. We will be returning. The bonus of us been able to take our dog is also a plus to us as when we are in Winderemer we are on holiday with him. I would highly recommend The Ryebeck to friends and family

    We had excellent food, sea bream and chicken, friendly and very service oriented staff. Unfortunately we got a Chinese couple next to us whose smacking, slurping and spitting of their starter was so loud and disgusting that we decided to leave earlier than planned … hope a better experience next time.
