The award winning Carriages restaurant is uniquely located within the allpay ltd campus in Whitestone Business Park, Hereford, and has been described as "City chic in rural Hereford". Carriages was inspired by founder Tony Killeen's passion for trains and the quirky setting of the restaurant, which overlooks the old Whitestone railway station.You can enjoy views of the rolling hills from the floor to ceiling windows in the top floor restaurant; dine inside or alfresco, on the spacious balcony, or walk the landscaped grounds surrounding the Four Seasons lake - which transforms into a maze of secret gardens, impressively lit up at night. Lovely friendly welcome, atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. Table clean and prepared for us. Food choices was good. My mum only usually eats toast at lunchtimes and they accommodated that with no hesitation. Delicious soup. Overall no complaints and would highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Hereford. The food was amazing (especially the Onglet) and the vibe was the perfect setting for a valentines meal. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Honestly couldn’t fault this place.

We have been to Carriages on many occasions, however last night- their first Thursday night opening, was the best yet. The food was above and beyond. Such friendly & knowledgeable service from all the staff. We will definitely be back!

Food was amazing, service was to a high standard, very polite and welcoming. Atmosphere in restaurant felt relaxed and at a good temperature. Staff were helpful and very nice. Will be visiting again.

We've been planning to book for a while following recommendations from friends and our first visit didn't disappoint. The food was beautifully cooked, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. We had a starter, main and dessert and it was all delicious.
