It was our first time there and we will definitely be back again. Food, service, pricing, and ambiance were all awesome.

No one makes soft shell crabs any better. Lightly sauted in butter and wine. Topped with toasted pinoli nuts. Doesn’t get much better. Add a martini calamari Caesar salad and creamed spinach. Just outstanding

After all these years, I remain a very satisfied diner. The Nautilus Cafe is simply the best. Every visit is as good as the very first time I stepped into at the south Freeport restaurant - which was years and years ago. A terrific place to go and have a great time. Msgr. Batule

Always a pleasure to eat there. Definitely the best restaurant on the Freeport mile. Help us efficient and pleasant and the price fixed special is more than worth it. Definitely a go to place

I eat here often and am never disappointed. You are never rushed, hot food is hot, salads are not overly dressed, excellent bartender. Tables are close together and sometimes you are privy to the conversations of fellow diners.

As usual, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Although it was Father's Day and the restaurant was really crowded, the waiters and waitresses didn't miss a beat. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Started out with Lobster bisque which is so very tasty and my wife had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection and I had the 2 lb lobster stuffed with crabmeat which was also perfectly cooked and delicious. We are never disappointed at Nautilus and since it was a holiday we were prepared for the possibility of some glitches, but were pleasantly surprised that there were none. Ramon was such a pleasure. He always treats us like family as do Debra, Christine, Bernice and the whole Nautilus staff!!

We started with the crab and corn chowder, and lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was flavorful but no visible chunks of lobster. We ordered the 2 fish specials of red snapper with asparagus, and halibut with mushroom (and a small bit of either crab or lobster on top) we shared both entrees which were fresh and well prepared . The server was kind enough to divide them before serving us. For sides we had Sautéd spinach and French fries which were fresh hot and well cooked. We couldn’t decide which fish we preferred , both very good. I would definitely go back to the Nautilus.
