The food and service was excellent. Our server Georg , a Russian gentleman , was friendly and checked in on us all the time. The only bad experience was when we first walked in at 7 pm and the hostess did not greet us and had a sour expression on her face. We told her that we were early for our 730 pm reservation but we would sit at the bar and get a drink until our table was ready. She curtly told us we couldn’t go to the bar, that it was closed. She then abruptly said I have a table for you right now and walked us to the table near the kitchen even though there were other tables in the main dining room. We almost walked out but George made up for the bad first impression. We will not return because of the hostess.

Everything was perfect! We sat outside and there was a personal heater for our table. The lighting and ambiance was just what we were looking for. The food and cocktails were so delicious. We will be back!

Napkins did not disappoint! We dined on a Saturday night. While the restaurant was very busy there was a minimal wait for our reservation. The waitstaff were personable and were able to explain all of the items on the menu. We tried the baked brie, caesar salad, and halibut . Portions were large and all were delicious and presented well.

We really enjoyed our wine, vegetable Wellingtons and apple crisp. We often dine here before attending a show in Napa. The servers were very cordial and attentive.

Food and service are consistently very good; this evening (Friday), noise level was boisterous! Two parties of diners celebrating birthdays and there didn't appear to be any empty tables inside.

Everything was great! Mac cheese just needed more cheese other than that, great atmosphere and drink!

Great service! Attentive, but not intrusive. Wine list is reasonably price for Napa, 100x markup. I feel the food was average for a great food town like Napa. Food was good, just nothing special. Made this resy only a couple of days before a Saturday night, so our choices were limited. Nice bar. $200 including a bottle of wine, appetizer, and 2 entrees. Thanks for a great experience!
