    We loved this restaurant! Fine dining at the beach was just what we were looking for to celebrate a birthday. My husband started with shrimp cocktail and I had the clam chowder. The shrimp were big and tasty. The chowder was the best I’ve ever had! I plan to buy some to take home with me. Next course I had the cod and he had the prime rib of pork, both were fantastic. We were stuffed but could have made room to split a dessert but the waiter never offered us coffee or dessert! We stopped on the way back to our hotel for ice cream, after all we were celebrating my birthday.

    I’ve been bringing my wife her for over 20 years, and I’ve been enjoying the restaurant for over 40 years. The food and service are always excellent!

    We always enjoy visiting Nantucket’s when visiting the area. Overall though, our visit this time was lacking. There was no mention of the evening’s specials so we don’t know if there were any. I ordered two appetizers, but one as my entree. My husband ordered an entree only. Everything came to the table at the same time. What a rushed, disappointing dinner. Everything was delicious but definitely not what we have become used to in the past.

    the crabcake and rack of lamb were both excellent. The server was attentive but not overbearing. All in all my spouse and enjoyed the meal.

    The food was just okay, nothing to keep me coming back. My main problem was the service. We wanted a more leisurely meal with a couple of classes of wine and maybe dessert. Instead, the appetizer and salad came out together and shortly thereafter, our entrees. I had to literally gobble up my salad while the server waited to remove my salad plate so that he could put down my entree. This wasn’t the experience we had in mind so we left right after our entrees.

    Amazing food. Evan was a very professional, knowledgeable and polite server. He helped us decide proper entree for a guest with dietary issues.

    Susie was our server, and she did an excellent job of going over the specials and answering our questions. She was the right amount of attentiveness. The drinks and food were delicious. We had muscles for an appetizer, and they were excellent. I had the lamb chops, of which there were plenty and they were juicy. My husband had the lobster shepherds pie, and this is the only reason I didn’t give outstanding for value. The lobster tails were delicious but he felt for $48, the dish should have had a more “gourmet” feel to it. All in all, I would highly recommend Nantuckets and definitely will go back.

    Such a gem. We arrived early but were promptly seated in a quiet corner. Our waiter was personable, knowledgeable and helpful. I had the Oysters Rockefeller . They were the best that I’ve had in lower Delaware. The main dish, halibut, was perfectly prepared and nicely presented. Just wonderful food and ambience. A very special way to celebrate our anniversary!
