Last night in town and closed out the trip with dinner at this wonderful restaurant. We’ve focused on everything old Hollywood and Musso & Frank did not disappoint. Food and service exceptional.

Wait staff was indifferent and didn't know the wine at all. Food was spot on though

Classic Hollywood dining spot. Great food, great service. It's pricey, but it's worth it, particularly for a special occasion. It's thrilling to eat where history dined.

Musso's was, as always, perfect. Each course was truly fine food - the Musso's special salad was amazing (and must be shared! It's for two or three people at least, and a four-way split would make nice starter salad portions); our filets mignons were perfect (one medium rare, one rare, each done just as ordered every time we dine there); the potatoes au gratin were delicious (and one side of that could serve five); and although we were so full we had to share a piece, no trip to Musso's is complete without cheesecake for dessert. We started with martinis at the bar. It's my very favorite bar ever. The drinks are perfectly made, and generous - with what won't fit in the glass poured into a tiny carafe served on ice. My first times at Musso's were sixty or more years ago, when my grandfather would take the family when I was a kid. The place is a time warp, except for the prices. The menu in the back hallway, which shows New York steak and filet mignon for a dollar each, while lovely history, can no longer actually be ordered from.

Our birthday celebration dinner for my mother was great. Our server Miguel was amazing and was very attentive to detail. Our food was good and Miguel ensured our needs were met. Quite an experience to see a restaurant celebrating 105 yrs and how dining was back in the day.

Took my in-laws to see old Hollywood type place with good food. Worth the visit.

A really lovely meal for our anniversary, great service, amazing steak and sides, really lovely buzzing ambience too. Highly recommend for a special meal.

First time here. Have wanted to try this place for many years. Overall it was a great experience. The restaurant itself does not disappoint as far as old school vibes. The decor and bar have a classy ambiance. The service was excellent and our waiter was fantastic. The food was great! After reading some reviews stating the food was just ok I found the complete opposite. My steak was cooked perfectly, the scalloped potatoes were delicious, and the Mac n cheese was the best I ever had. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Love the old school vibe. I had the bone in rib eye. Cooked to perfection. Excellent taste. Wife had the lobster. It was also excellent.

We arrived about an hour ahead of our reservation hoping to grab a martini at the bar. We entered through the front door and were greeted by a helpful maitre d. We gave him our name, and he offered to seat us early if we liked, but before we decided he wanted us to check to see if we liked the table. We walked by the bar on the way, and saw 2 empty stools, so we decided to grab a cocktail. We ordered a couple drinks, which were prepared by an old-school bartender - Delicious! As we were enjoying our drinks, the maitre d came back over and told us he had a great booth available for us. We closed our tab and moved to our table. It was a cozy 1/2 round red leather booth. We were greeted by a server, and ordered a shrimp cocktail and enjoyed the rest of our cocktails while we chatted and took in the atmosphere. The shrimp arrived, and it was ok, not great (a little overcooked), Service pace was perfect: Un-rushed, but attentive. We ordered mains: Wife had the Bouillabaisse Marseillaise, which was chock full of lobster, mussels and clams. She enjoyed it. I ordered a ribeye cap and mashed potatoes. Steak was prepared as ordered, a perfect mid-rare with a charred exterior from the (famous) grill. Potatoes were uninspired: Bland and over-whipped, but tasted better mixed with the steak drippings on the plate. We very much enjoyed our experience - This is not a place we came to strictly for the food - The ambiance and history are a large part of the draw. For the price alone, the food wouldn't have been worth it for us, but given the entire experience we didn't mind the cost. Institutions like this don't always last, so they need to be supported. Thanks Musso and Frank Grill for a great evening!
