Felt very rushed. Got the wrong drink and meal and server brushed me off. Dissapointed because I’d made the reservation months in advance for a nice NYE. Smoke House here we come!

We made a late reservation for coffee, dessert and bubbly to celebrate New Year’s and our wedding anniversary. Musso and Frank was a special place for me as a kid. We were lectured by one of the managers that we should not have been sitting in a booth and should be at the bar if we were not “dining”. Our reservation was at 10:15pm and they changed it to 9:45pm. I’m sorry but I know people come from the theatre etc. to just have dessert. He interrupted our conversation and nice evening and was so snobby and rude. I will never return! I have always dined at nice restaurants and enjoyed late night dessert and coffee and NEVER had the manager make my party feel unwelcome. It was a terrible experience. Would not recommend. We should have walked out but we didn’t want it to ruin our evening, we were in town visiting family. It is no longer on my list of favorite places in LA. I have been to far nicer places than Musso’s and would never have been treated as such. Snobby as it gets!

One of my favorite places in Hollywood however last night was different. We made a 10:00 reservation so that we would be there for a toast at midnight. They called and changed our reservation to 9:15 and I found out upon arrival they were planning on having everybody out of the restaurant by midnight. On NYE! The staff was generally pretty cranky as well. Not sure what's going on over there. Food was excellent as always, however.

It’s always a pleasure to eat at Musso & Frank. The staff is always nice and attentive, the food delicious, the drinks great, and I love the history that comes with dining with them.

We had reservations at 6:00 pm, and were seated right away. We were sat at a 2 person booth right next to the bar area. It being New Years Eve the bar was wall to wall people. Which made the noise level extremely loud. As the evening went on the bar began to thin out so it wasn't as bad. The food was excellent as always. Our waiter was around often and was very polite. Looking forward to dining there again soon. In the future if we came back during the holidays I would request to be seated in a different room than the bar.

This location is a MUST for every special occasion or dinner with friends or with that special someone. Old class with excellent staff. Brian who is a server in the new room is exceptional to every detail and Paul our host ensures your happy with every detail through the evening. Thank you!

We never miss a trip here when in LA - this old school Hollywood haunt is still a great place to eat and see friends. The elevated comfort food is still fantastic - decent portions, get the sand dabs if you like fish and the legendary baked potato with everything is a favourite. The waiters are attentive and Frank still plays in the background - you may even be sitting in his old booth. Enjoy!

Every time I go to Musso & Frank it's oustanding. I've never had a bad meal here. The martinis are stiff, appetizers are tantalizing, mains are the perfect temperature. It's simply a classic if you live in LA. No excuses not to come here.
