This restaurant has it all! Cool, historic building and ambiance, amazing food, exquisite cocktails, but for us The favorite addition to this restaurant are their servers Jorge and Gabby! They made our night! So knowledgeable and fun. Amazing experience. I just booked another reservation and asked for their section. They will make you want to be a regular.

I usually don’t write negative reviews but the more I thought about it the more I’m inclined to share my experience. I booked an 8 o clock reservation for my girlfriend and I for an outside table. When we arrived, we were told we would have to wait for a table to leave which was fine. When we were waiting by the bar for our table to be ready, we were asked repeatedly if we wanted to be seated inside. Finally we decided to sit inside. They took us upstairs to probably the worst seat in the house. It was up adjacent to a wall in a small room. Again, this is fine, we are not picky people at all but felt pushed to sit inside when I reserved the outside. Moving further, our waiter was unaccommodating and short. I could tell he was nervous but only checked up on us a few times. We ordered wine, an app, and an entree that were all delicious. Finally, the same waiter asked the table next to us if they wanted dessert to end their dinner, we were not asked for dessert and plainly given the check. Not to diminish the experience but the service could be better and more accommodating. The food was excellent but service was poor.

Celebrated a bachelorette party here for a dinner. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the food / drinks were perfection! We were a larger group so we appreciated that there was no pressure to keep noise to a minimum.

The food in this place was excellent. Pasta dishes were well prepared and dessert was great. The place is very charming and shows off Charleston historical vibe. The only drawback during our visit was that the food took way too long ( about an hour plus for the main entree) so definitely a downer.

It was a slow night in the kitchen of the Muse getting to our food order for a 7PM reservation. I can only think several large parties already seated threw them a curve to get the food out and in good order. Taking 80 minutes from order to food is not the mark of a top restaurant. Our waitress tried to soften the blow with free bread and a second round of free drinks but she was at the mercy of the kitchen to produce. We ordered from the menu and it was nothing too hard or special in the orders. Hope they can run a tighter ship and space out the masses that seem to be the groups of this night's dinner.

The beet & carrot salad as well as the arugula salad were a great way to start our dinner. The mains of Sea Bass and Halibut were sizable portions and both were excellent but the price of $37 and $44 respectively seemed just a little pricey. If they didn’t taste as good as it did, I might have a different opinion. Ended our meal with decaf and regular coffee, important to us, that was hot and a good taste. Old house with many rooms. We sat upstairs in a small room but didn’t feel crowded. Overall great experience.

Our experience was really lovely overall with one exception which perhaps cannot be helped in the low country of Charleston. Food was amazing, service was lovely, cocktails were on point and the ambiance was super cute. The only caveat was the very large palmetto bug that decided to pay us a visit while we were eating. I truly almost screamed out loud as it caught me by surprise when I looked over at the hanging curtain and I was eye to eye with a massive bug! I do know this happens esp in the low country and we didn’t say a word but our whole area of the resturant saw it and it became the topic of conversation. That being said if you do get the opportunity to go def check it out just keep your eyes peeled 🤪🤪
