Le chef Michael Psilakis propose une cuisine d'inspiration grecque primée à Westchester avec l'ouverture de son restaurant MP Taverna, une interprétation moderne d'une taverne grecque traditionnelle. Composé de copieux plats grecs de Psilakis, le menu accessible de l'établissement est énoncé dans une jargon culinaire américain. C'est une autre façon de renforcer l'objectif du chef qui est de mettre la cuisine grecque sur la grande scène culinaire. « Les souvenirs que j'ai de la cuisine avec ma famille m'ont énormément inspirés pour la création de mes restaurants et j'espère que les personnes qui viendront se restaurer au sein du restaurant créeront leurs propres souvenirs à travers leurs expériences culinaires au MP Taverna », dit le chef Michael Psilakis. « Je veux que le MP Taverna soit une destination pour plus qu'un simple repas de fête, un endroit qui évoque la convivialité de votre table de salle à manger à la maison ».

    MP Taverna is a gem in Westchester which equals or exceeds the best dining experiences to be found. Staring with a warm greeting from the owner, the evening unfolds with gracious service, a menu which exceeds expectations, superb food and extensive wine and cocktail lists. One has to constantly be reminded that this is Westchester, not Manhattan or LA. This is what draws so many repeat visits.

    Food was very good. Service impeccable. Chef Owner checked on all tables which is an excellent touch. Only negative was floor slippery

    Everything about the restaurant was wonderful. The ambience and service we’re top-notch. We were fortunate that the chef was there whenever we had questions our food which made it even more enjoyable. Of note, the lamb shank was one of the best I have ever had. Our group had a great time and I highly recommend it.

    The restaurant was a mess. First, we checked in and they put our party at two different tables (we didn't all arrive together). Took forever to order and when we did the server was in a huge hurry. They tried 4 different times to bring us food that wasn't ours! Finally brought our food which we were sharing but waited 10 minutes for plates. I finally had to go to the inside kitchen and get plates for us to use. Never did get to order another drink! The food was great once we got it. But the service was absolutely horrible!

    I asked for a medium rare. Lamberger was lectured by the chef owner about how it couldn’t be medium rare so I apologize. Told him to please give me the burger that he thought I should have and it came out raw and cold in the middle. I have a feeling he was punishing me for wanting a medium rare burger. I will never go again.

    Our tablecloth was filthy dirty We had to get it changed out but it literally looked like it was washed in dirty water.

    Sat outside within 100 feet of train tracks. We were expecting brunch which the website said. Very disappointing
