First time at Mott St and it was just as expected! Super flavorful and great diversity of menu items. Drinks were great as well. Patio was great as we had a dog with us and the patio was beautiful and relaxing on a Wednesday evening.

I came here on the basis of a recommendation however I could pass on this one. The place doesn’t match it’s requirements. You’re required to have a reservation but the place wasn’t packed. The outdoor patio was situated nicely but there was so many noisy people. There were babies and dogs. It felt like I was on an uncomfortable plane ride. As well, the prices did not match the delicacies. The garlic rice was salty. I would suggest having plain, steamed white rice. I didn’t really get the Vietnamese ambience. It felt like just another overpriced restaurant.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Mott st. The burger was excellent along with the Pork dish. We shall be back to try more items(not the burger) and hoping we get the same enjoyment.

Absolutely stunning food. Every dish we had was great, and most were incredible. This is what Asian American food should look like - innovative, creative, and delicious.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had to date, definitely in Chicago. We had a 1:45pm reservation on the patio and arrived at 1:50pm. When we got there the hostess said we could not sit outside because they were closing the patio. I inquired because we had a reservation, so why offer that time slot. So she said we could sit inside to which we agreed. When we sat down our waiter said we had to order within 3 minutes to get our food in because the kitchen was closing. The menu is small so we did. But the waiter said we could sit and eat until the kitchen reopened. We got our burgers around 2:15pm. At 2:30pm, the wait staff came over saying we needed to leave the restaurant. We were totally appalled. We did not realize they were trying to close the whole restaurant at 2pm. It was terrible for them to offer a 1:45pm reservation with the expectation 4 people should order, be served, eat, drink, and pay by 2pm. While our food was good, this was completely overshadowed by the rudest service I have experienced in any restaurant. More so, we were forced out of the restaurant to see multiple groups still on the patio where our reservation was. I thought this was totally unacceptable.

We had a wonderful experience, with our toddler, as always. They were kind enough to change our reso time and accomodate us. Great service, food, and ambience!

Best Brunch in the city! The food is amazing, beautifully served and delicious with many healthy options (gf)! Beautiful ambiance and very welcoming service!

Great texture and flavors - definitely out of the ordinary. Oyster Mushrooms stole the show !!!!!!

I was a little bit disappointed in the burger. Felt like the two thicker patties were a bit much. My husband enjoyed it. Just two different opinions! I'd also appreciate french fries or some sort of side with a $21 burger. I also didn't love that different parties had to share tables. And the speakers were quite loud. Other than that, the patio was pleasant, and service was great!
