This is a favorite spot I try to get to whenever I’m in Chicago. The mango sticky rice alone is worth the trip!

Excellent food and service! The burger is one of the best, but honestly the rest of the menu shouldn’t be slept on.

Cozy space and friendly host and server. The food is great but not extraordinary. The meal wasn’t coursed out despite the server saying it would be, so five dishes arrived at once and then one entree dish followed. We felt a bit rushed.

I was super excited to head over to Mott St., especially for the burger. The place is absolutely lovely and an adorable set up outside. We got an excellent drink during happy hour. From there, it was really an average experience. Our main server was good, but we got there at 5:45 and got a drink and when we asked when happy hour ran until and she said until 6 (it was 6 on the nose) and told us we could not have our drink again at the happy hour price, which felt unnecessary. She also recommended 5-6 dishes or 2 people, which also felt unnecessary. It was just us two, and we got 5 and it was way too much. The food runners would drop the food at our table at the edge of the table and one almost fell off and they kept cleaning up our plates before we even got a chance to fully finish. The food was not great. The wings were the best part, they tasted really good in the sauce, but the tzatziki was not a good addition. Everything else was lacking flavor. We got the tofu, which had a good sauce, but the tofu itself was very very bland. The papaya salad was very bland and the "thai" flavor profile was missed. We got the burger, which was fine; it only had one primary creamy flavor, but that's it and the bun was soggy. Lastly, the fire chicken was the most disappointing. It came out as a stew; it said Korean "chili", which I think I might have confused with the chili pepper (my fault, not theirs). Either way, it was very wet, there was barely any chicken and it was so so sweet, it was hard to eat. Overall, I would not recommend and for a $21 burger that does not meet the hype, I would skip it. If you wanna go get a happy hour priced drink and split a burger on a random night, it would be fine, but I don't think it's worth the trip! Thank you to those who work so hard on the staff and I'm sorry it didn't work out for us!

We had such an incredible experience at Mott Street! The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and so polite. The food was unbelievable! We were there for brunch and we were blown away! We loved the cocktail menu, the coffee was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. Next time I’m in Chicago I’m going!
