Occupant le bâtiment historique Congaree Vista avec une terrasse chauffée et un service de voiturier gratuit, le Motor Supply sert une cuisine progressive du nouveau monde en utilisant des techniques culinaires françaises classiques depuis plus de 20 ans. Sous la conduite du chef exécutif Wesley Fulmer, les menus écrits à la main du brunch, dîner et souper changent tous les jours et présentent une cuisine contemporaine américaine nouvelle, avec des clins d'œil à la cuisine créole, cajun, française, asiatique et du sud. Le Motor Supply travaille en collaboration avec des fermes locales et durables pour ses ingrédients, viandes, produits laitiers et autre. Les fruits de mer sont pêchés sur la côte de la Caroline du Sud, tandis que la charcuterie, les desserts, les bouillons, les sauces et les vinaigrettes sont tous faits maison. Le bar propose une vaste carte des vins ayant reçu le prix de l'Excellence par Wine Spectator (2006-2013), des bières importées, nationales et locales, ainsi qu'une carte de cocktails artisanaux aux ingrédients issus de la ferme, créés avec des liqueurs infusées maison, des amers artisanaux, des spiritueux vieillis en tonneau et des ingrédients et garnitures locaux, le tout confectionné par le barman en chef Josh Streetman.

    We were greeted and seated promptly for our reservation. Everyone was friendly, from the valet to the hostess to our server. The food was fresh and delicious. This is a great local spot that serves dishes from locally sourced farms.

    We received a gift certificate and we were so excited for a date night. The server didn’t really engage at all, despite me trying to converse with her, checked on us rarely, another server took our plates and when my plate was barely touched didn’t offer to bring a box or ask if there as a problem. My pork chop was fatty and tough. The beans were super salty. Our wine was not cold enough and the vanilla bean crème brûlée was barely sweet. I was very disappointed.

    Nice place. Cool vibe. Service solid. We all enjoyed out meals. The Blistered Shishito peppers were a table favorite too, as were the field peas on the pork chop dinners... we will be back!

    We started off with the cheese board which was fantastic with all the different flavors. She had the shrimp dish which was out of this world with the spices/flavors. I had the swordfish which was also very good. It had a tomato okra sauce, I'm not a big fan of okra so I would probably not order it again. But I could tell it was well made. Service was great.

    Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, the food was very tasty and well prepared, and the prices were great n line with what is being charged in the vista. Another great meal.
