    Good food is detracted by uneven service. Our server disappeared multiple times. If you are sitting at the sushi bar, why can’t you speak directly with the chef as in many other Japanese places?

    The facility seems to be in need of a refresh. The air vents were dripping on diners, the wall seemed to need paint, the area behind the host desk was dirty/peeling… The service though was really quite poor. Long waits and no water refills and just overall not up to the level of, say, matsuhisa. Don’t think we’ll go back. It’s not as special as it was 15 years ago when it was a real destination. Perhaps time to close and refresh the experience.

    Have been coming to Morimoto for years and the quality of the experience has improved from superlative to more than that! We had the Omakase and every single dish spoke to the next. Our waiter was highly motivated and knowledgeable on all aspects of Japanese culture and culinary traditions. Simplicity and quality ingredients rang true last night. I wish ever dining experience was as good as this one. Thank you staff and Morimoto! You get better with age.

    It is a beautiful restaurant with outstanding service. The lobster dish was not great but everything else we tried was delicious.

    Absolute perfection! Visited for a second time in two weeks for a birthday meal that was just amazing. Andrew our server was knowledgeable and helpful with selections as well as Sake recommendations. We brought our son-in-law for his birthday, as well as our daughter and two beautiful granddaughters. They had already been to Morimoto and were very eager and excited to return. Thank you Chef and the team, especially Andrew for making our family celebration a special memory!
