Temperature of food was off. Got a cup of tea, was luke warm. Ordered miso soup also Luke warm. Ordered sushi with accommodations due to allergy to sesame seeds and the sushi was still brought out with the allergen on it.

Go and try the omakase tasting menu! We did the omakase tasting menu with the beverage pairing. It’s an 8 course meal (yes 8 drinks to accompany too) that ranged from baked fish, sushi, raw fish, steak, etc. The beverage pairing vaired from champagne to saki to wines. I will add that each beverage was PERFECTLY paired to the dish. Everything was outstanding, we even upgraded to the kobe beef the the wagyu steak - incredible and very indulgent. No surprise the best part was the sushi - ranged from a selection of fish that just melt in your mouth. I would definitely return and just order sushi in the future. Last comment, we came here for our anniversary and was pleasantly treated to complimentary glass of champagne with a scoop of sorbet in it. Left with our hearts and stomachs full!

The food and service was exquisite! Unfortunately there was a very loud and offensive customer behind us. The management was brilliant handling this and treated us to dessert as a reward for our patience 💕 well done!

the king crab, wasabi fried rice and main course were 5 star. the sushi was very mediocre and quality not in line with the price

Always a great experience at Morimoto’s. We dine there at least 6 times a year. We’ve never had a bad meal or poor service over the many years of dining there. Hamachi tartare, tuna pizza, rock shrimp tempura and wagyu beef carpaccio are appetizers not to be missed. Also the Morimoto Omakase (chef’s tasting menu) is a definite must try. Oh, and if you like oysters these are not to be missed as they are not the usual presentation. Trust me, they’re delicious!

Food was very delicious, flavorful and very well presented. Went here to celebrate my partner’s birthday and Morimoto did not disappoint! Absolutely loved it and will be coming back again in the future!

I told my server that I was torn between the soggy and the lychee martini. I said I’ll start with the sake and get the lychee martini after dinner. She never even came back to refill our waters. Let alone asked me if I wanted another drink. The vegetable Ramen Was not very flavorful. The sushi was amazing though.

My husband and I had our anniversary there. Service was lovely but we had a hard time hearing our server on a busy Saturday night. Food was okay. The rice that was served with my salmon was cold/warm.

This was our 6th time at Morimoto’s and probably our last. We picked the tasting menu ($166 pp) as we always do and were disappointed by the taste, the portion sizes (much smaller than in the past) and the quality of the food. The service was OK except that you are rushed through the meal. The moment you empty your plate someone takes it from you, even if other people at the table are not done with their course, which you would not expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The last course before the desert was a sample of 5 sushi pieces which were presented as the cream of the crop but were simply mediocre served with stale ginger shavings. The other courses ranged from good to average. There was nothing spectacular. So upset that this place has lost its edge. It used to be the place we went to for special occasions but no more and certainly not worth the exorbitant prices.
