   Food was amazing. I had sea bass. Brussels are wonderful. And the baked oysters. Burrata and tomato salad was average. And it’s the best view in town

   We hadn’t been there for a while and forgot just how great it was. Our waiter was fabulous and EVERYTHING we ate was delicious.

   A nice time, great service. The restaurant is a little busy and loud but it was Friday night so expected. My only disappointment is the same one I have at many “fine dining” places these days. A lack of a dress code. Saw ripped jeans, tshirts galore , sneakers etc. I know people think it’s cool or fashionable but it’s not. None of them are “tech billionaires “ but think they are. It’s sloppy and sadly takes away from the experience and cheapens the restaurant. But it’s the world we live in now. I may be older but what’s right is right.

   What a dud… if there’s one word to describe this place, it’s bland. Everything lacked flavor and seasoning. Especially the French onion filet. What sounded great, was executed dreadfully. Barely caramelized onions, with Gruyère cheese that wasn’t melted, a weird piece of bread and about 20oz of flavorless bone broth. The filet was like eating nothing. There wasn’t an ounce of salt on the meat. Crab cakes had no flavor whatsoever. Way too much filling and way too much mayo… scallops that came with the crab cakes were the size of nickels. Positives were the crab bisque and the Brussels… everything else fell way flat. Service rushed us beyond belief and as soon as we knew it, a $313 bill was complete in barely an hour. We will never be back as this has been our second let down. If you want some solid seafood, go to off the hook in Wexford. This place used to be the premier spot in Pittsburgh. Seems like that is a claim of the past. A real shame.

   The ambiance can not be beat! The view from Mt. Washington overlooking Pittsburgh at night was truly special. The food was delicious. Great selection and everything of superior quality. I had the Ahi-tuna, and asparagus. Both were outstanding. The tastes were unique and well-balanced. Service was also attentive and personable. We were celebrating my partner's birthday and although we could not manage dessert, the server gave my partner a small piece of cake for the next day. I thought this very thoughtful. It was an experience that both my partner and I will recall with fondness.

   Wonderful evening, great atmosphere and the food was top notch. Definitely picked the right restaurant to celebrate being 1yr cancer free and will be back to celebrate next year.

    Wonder food, service, and ambiance. Prices seemed high but I recognize you're so paying for the experience as a whole. Highly recommend!
