Outstanding customer service and attention to detail from beginning to end. I enjoyed the best old fashioned I’ve had in years. The food was amazing as it always is. Consistency is hard to find but not here. Every time I visit, the overall experience is exactly why it’s easily the best restaurant in Pittsburgh. 10/10 ⭐️

Ordered the app trio which was served with very little sauce. The crab cake was very good but the skewers definitely needed an accompanying sauce. Entree, French onion filet was served on a piece of bread which turns into an unappetizing soggy mess after the broth is poured over it. It was difficult to tell what was bread, cheese or onions after a few cuts into the meat and everything started to fall apart. The waitress never refilled our water or cleaned the crunchy bread crumbs off the table as servers around us were doing with their scraper tool. We have been here many times but it seems like the quality just isn’t the same. I will say that the grilled angel food cake dessert is phenomenal as usual and the views at sunset are beautiful. Oh and Henry, the service manager, was very nice and attentive.

This is my go to restaurant when I have out-of-town visitors. The view is wonderful. The food is always excellent and so different than what you can get other places. It’s always a great experience because of the food and the servers.

My son ordered the French Inion Steak. Requested it medium rare but it came medium well. The waitress even said that was overcooked and asked if we’d like to send it back. We rarely if ever send food back but for $68 my son should have sent it back but chose not to. All the other the food was great, and the waitress was fantastic.

Monterey Bay on Mt. Washington in Pittsburgh is a true gem! The views of the city are simply unmatched, making it the perfect spot for a special night out. The menu offers a fantastic range, from fresh seafood to perfectly cooked steaks, and the decadent desserts are a must-try. The drinks were just as impressive, with a great selection of cocktails and wines to enhance the meal. Our server was excellent—attentive, professional, and added to the overall experience. We will definitely be back for another amazing dining experience! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for top-tier food, service, and breathtaking views.
