                                                    The restaurant was cold to start with but asked to have the temp turned up which was fine. Our first server wasn't a great host but our attendee next was fantastic. The quality of the food was outstanding and very well presented. James

                                                    Lovey setting with great service. We had three different meals and all were very well prepared. Highly recommend.

                                                    Food was great as was service. Bar was also great. We had the haggis (for the first time) and steak and salmon. Everything was delicious. The restaurant atmosphere is fitting for down a close in Edinburgh. Enjoyed all of it.

                                                    I had a wonderful time as a first time patron and was warmly welcomed by our server. She was an attentive and made us feel like family. The food was great and really enjoyed the experience. Would recommend this to others in Edinburgh.

                                                    The food was delicious and service excellent. Definitely need to make reservations. Much quieter than some of the nearby pubs. Highly recommend dining here.

                                                    Totally disappointed by this dining experience. Itison voucher entitled to ribeye steak chips and glass of fizz. Steak was tough, tasteless and full of fat. Peppercorn sauce was tasteless. Service was cheery, friendly but incredibly slow - took 20 mins to serve water! Restaurant was quite compact - not much space between tables and poorly lit. Reported disappointment of meal to server but just got a shrug of the shoulders in response. Poor value for money. Will not eat there again!

                                                    My daughter and I visited on a Sunday evening and ordered the Sunday Roast. It was fantastic!! The meat had a nice red center, exactly as requested. The Haggis was fancier than I had on a previous visit. Can’t visit Scotland without trying Haggis. The service was outstanding. The restaurant is not huge so make a reservation. The atmosphere is very cosy and inviting. Highly recommend!
