Founded in 2006, MoCA formed a philosophy of dining and cuisine guided by the dynamic balance between the cherished traditions of Asian cultures, with thousands of years of history, and the universally human spirit of innovation that is nourished best by these great traditions. The name “MoCA” comes from “Modern Concept of Culinary Arts.” The MoCA team approaches cooking as an artistic endeavor, devoted to presenting modern, healthy dishes with artistic principles of color, fragrance, balance, and overall presentation.

Sliding doors that seal the noise from the main dining room keep the room private with views of the MoCA Waterfall just outside. A projector and screen is available for Laptop hook ups and Powerpoint presentations. Asian art murals encompass the room with hard wood floors and beautiful vertical accent windows cap off a perfect venue for your special event.

The service was nicely addressed by Taylor. However, I have to complain about a few issues. Vodka on the rocks was mostly rocks. Very small pour. We asked for a little generosity with round two but didn’t notice much of a change. The music being loudly played thru a very good sound system was a real deterrent to conversation. Don’t we like to meet friends at restaurants and enjoy each others company and conversation? If so, Moca is not the place for that. I asked for the music to be lowered but I don’t think that happened. The music playlist would be great for a buzzed dance night but not in a restaurant. The food, as usual, was really creative and delicious. That keeps us going back over many years.

One of our favorite places to go for Asian fusion food. Very large varied menu. Service is excellent. The ambience is beautiful and I love the music.!

Love going to MoCa for their bento box lunch. Great value and alway delicious. Beautiful ambiance as well and plenty of parking at the Woodbury location.

My husband and I dine here often Sushi is always good. I had to give this place a break for awhile. The bar is very disappointing for years now. I noticed that our server was making our drinks. They were not so good and this is not the first time. I’ve noticed that the place is always busy I cannot be the only one complaining about the drinks. They need to hire a real bartender.

Very good service and interesting takes on traditional sushi. I really enjoyed the 3 salmons (on the nightly specials )

Great service. A bit pricey for Miso soup which needed more Miso flavor. Other dishes we ordered were delicious.
