Le Mixto est un bâtiment à deux étages fait de bois naturel et de briques situé à l'est du centre-ville de Philadelphie dans l'historique Antique Row. Voilà dix ans que cet établissement est ouvert. Leur philosphie consiste à apporter une nouvelle gamme de saveurs cubaines, latine-américaines et caribéennes au centre-ville. Ouvert pour le déjeuner, le dîner et le souper avec un service au bar, une carte des vins et une sélection de cocktails. The portion size was not great and accompanying sides that comes with the entree’s do not complement each other. I had ordered mahi-mahi for the second time, and this time it came covered with a thick white sauce and asparagus. They thrown on some fried plantains, and called it a meal. It had no taste or flavor especially for a Hispanic restaurant which was disappointing because I was expecting it be reasonably seasoned. The fish was dryer than cardboard, and the sauce had nothing to cling to. It looked like swamp water. The entree’s came very lack luster for a Hispanic restaurant. This was my third try at this restaurant and I came back because the staff was great, and drinks were good, but the food always leaves me hungrier than I came and I am left feel stupid for returning. Hopefully someone at the restaurant reads this and make changes. I do not think I’ll be back a fourth time to waste money on this restaurant, I really wanted to support the community.

Terrible service. Lots of time trying to get server’s attention for more water. We wanted dessert but it took so long for server to come we decided to go somewhere else for dessert. Average food. Prices would be fine if food was good. It was take out quality food at fine dining prices.

As a frequent guest for both brunch and dinner, I have always enjoyed the quality of food and atmosphere at your establishment. However, my latest visit was disappointing and not up to the standard I have come to expect. During our visit, we encountered several issues that affected our overall experience: - Our server was not attentive, only taking our order and returning once when I got up to request more coffee and our check. The busser was more present at our table, clearing our plates efficiently. - I was surprised to learn that you no longer carry any soda products, which was communicated to us in an unexpected manner. - Upon arrival, we were seated upstairs by the host who mentioned it was cooler. However, it was extremely warm, and when I inquired about moving downstairs (where only two tables were occupied), the host declined, stating it was not possible as we had already ordered our food. Overall, the service was subpar and did not reflect the high standards I have experienced during my previous visits. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that it can be addressed, as I value the dining experiences your restaurant has provided in the past. I would appreciate your thoughts on this matter and any steps you might take to improve the service.

Authentic Cuban food (ropa vieja, plantains, Cuban toast) in a relaxed atmosphere with outdoor cafe style seating. Excellent cocktails, including, of course, the requisite mojito!
