As a solo diner it is not always easy to adjust to being placed in a restaurant . Restaurants are made for two or more and this is reflected in where they seat you and how they treat you . The food at Miradoro is lovely . I had the Duck liver Pate and their Pancetta Pizza . The wine and cocktails are always good and would highly recommend . The only thing I can comment on is my table . As a solo diner they automatically offered me a corner table , nothing in the open or with a view or window . When I asked if I could sit elsewhere they offered me another corner and only because I wouldn’t be there long as another large party would be coming in . It was a bit disheartening but I guess you either make your wishes known or you learn from it . Since I am unable to respond publicly to this response I am only able to edit my initial review . I did indeed ask for a nice quiet table but considering I had a very early reservation I could have been seated anywhere and it would have been quiet . My issue is being put in corners in restaurants as a solo dinner . I had a large party seated in my corner that was very noisy so I think this defeated the purpose of where I ended up being seated . My initial request was valid and didn’t need to be changed . What needs to change is a restaurants viewpoint on solo diners .

We offered tables to you under those parameters and if we had known that you had changed your mind on your arrival, we would have been only too happy to accommodate as there were many tables open in busy parts of the room. The meatball sandwich is always AMAZING. Jill was a great server. Very welcoming and beautiful views! My favourite place for lunch in the Okanagan.

I had the daily soup, which was parsnip, for a starter. I had the Fraser Valley pork chop for my main course and the Dark chocolate budino for dessert. All of these items were fantastic. I will definitely return to this restaurant. Elizabeth gave us excellent service!

The restaurant was well prepared for our dinner. The service was top notch. Food was exactly as we expected, excellent ! Overall it was very good value in a comfortable setting with good attention to details.

We really enjoyed the views at Miradoro, and we were one of 3 tables that evening that were dining so the restaurant was quiet and the service was attentive! Drinks were very good, service was great, the salad was decent, the steak main was good but not exceptionally flavourful, desserts were yummy, but nothing really "popped" for us in any of the dishes.
