really weird experience. we had reservations at 7, they sat people with 7:15 reservations before us. guy apologized, gave us free calamari. then we waited over an hour for our food. barely saw our waiter. was not asked if we wanted a second drink after our first was taken away. bread was untoasted and cold right out of the bag with cold butter. boyfriends steak was severely undercooked and he said it was not worth the $90. really loud. it was busy sure but wow. they really put the MID in midtown.

I had one of the WORST meal experiences in recent memory. My (4) guest and I waited 1.5 hours for our entree’s only to arrive COLD. (2) of my guests were served luke warm steaks on cold plates. This is a second rate place with over priced food. The owner had the opportunity to address the mess… thought giving me carrot cake was a remedy. In a town with so many really good restaurant choices., I WILL NEVER RETURN TO MIDTOWN

Food was wonderful, but service was extremely slow. Over an hour wait for entrees after salads were served. Drinks weren’t refilled. But, it was Valentine’s Day, so a very busy night.

They were ABSOLUTELY NOT prepared for a Valentine's Day crowd! The 1 hour wait was unacceptable! The waiter warned us of the wait but that is NOT what you want to hear when you have another engagement after dinner. The steak was not cooked to medium well, it was rare! I think they may have hurried to bring the food out even though it was forever.....I hesitated sending it back dreading it would be another hour wait! It was a very disappointing dinner.

Overall Midtown Bistro was great. The owner was very gracious to allow a substitution for our meal. The server was on par, knew exactly when to come to our table, and did not interrupt our conversations. This is important I have been to restaurants where the server was not reading the room and frequent interruptions occurred. The server, Claudio, was perfect, he knew how to read the room!! The food was great and I plan to bring my husband to experience Midtown Bistro!!

Great Birthday lunch for us!! We enjoyed running into people we knew and the staff was very attentive. Perfectly grilled Salmon and lively risotto was a real hit !

Was our usual lunch restaurant until today, waiter could not understand to mix the cobb salad with its usual dressing and was brought to the table mixed in various ways twice without the dressing, I asked only for olive oil on side, no bacon, a few cubed small pieces of chicken, egg was not properly chopped and the cost was 21$ for honestly only spinach, my friends fish and chips the fries were burnt black, extremely disappointing and a rip off, never again will we be back
