The filet was served with a knife. A fork was all that was needed. As community minded as Michael's on East is I was disappointed that those that served our conntry were not offered a discount of any kind.

Went for our anniversary and while the lobster bisque and Cesaer salad was very good, my petite filet was more rare than medium and was cold. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. The biggest disappointment was being charged $4 for still water which I presumed was tap water and being given an occasion dessert we didn’t ask for and was charged $14 for it. If I wanted a dessert I would have ordered something else to celebrate our anniversary. Otherwise, food was delicious and service was attentive.

My husband and I received a recommendation to visit this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first time there and everything from the moment we walked in was amazing. We started with a great bottle of Cabernet and I got the octopus appetizer and my husband the wedge salad. The octopus was very tender and mixed with chorizo for added flavor. For dinner I got the filet topped with scallops and asparagus and my husband had scallops and asparagus. The scallops were a decent size (U8) and cooked to perfection. We were treated with a chocolate dessert with “happy anniversary” written on the plate … we felt spoiled and couldn’t have asked for a better night! Our server was amazing. Oh, and when we arrived it was pouring down rain… the valet guy came to the door with a large umbrella to walk us both undercover.

Michael's On East was recommended to us by a friend, as my wife and I were looking for a terrific restaurant in Sarasota to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was THE PERFECT CHOICE! Very friendly, knowledgeable staff both in the lounge and dining room and the menu was both diverse, creative and outstanding in every way. We had an exceptional anniversary experience and will look forward to coming back again next year. Thank you, Michael's On East, for making our special evening so very, well...SPECIAL and MEMORABLE!

We had a lovely dinner. Appreciated the greeting at the door by the Manager. Kimberly was our server and was very attentive. We took a guest who had yet been to Micheal’s and she was very impressed with our experience. The food was exceptional as always.

To celebrate our wedding anniversary we dined at Michaela’s on East for the first time. The experience far exceeded our expectations. Our waiter, Freddie, was not only knowledgeable but also attentive and charismatic, ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. The food was exceptional, and the extensive wine list featuring wines from around the world was a treat for wine enthusiasts. The ambience was tasteful and romantic, enhanced by a talented piano player that added to the romantic atmosphere of the room. Overall, our evening at Michael’s on East was nothing short of fabulous.

This classy and elegant restaurant has quickly become my new favorite! From the moment my daughter and I walked in to celebrate my birthday, we were treated to an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Mark, our server, went above and beyond not just for us, but for all his customers!! He was absolutely amazing, and I will request him every time! The food was simply extraordinary—delicious and beautifully presented. We had such a wonderful time, and I cannot wait to return!
