It was a bad night for salmon, two of us ordered it and it was overcooked and of low quality.

Michael’s Cafe has become one of our favorite spots for a quiet, special dinner. The food is always excellent and the service continues to be great! Thank You Skylar for an awesome 8th Anniversary Celebration for my wife and myself!

The noise level proved to be a barrier to conversation between 4 adults seated in the center of the room. Despite good food and and attentive service, this was a negative. Observed other small groups leaning in to attend to a speaker who was speaking loudly to be heard. Addressing this would be nice but appears not necessary as the restaurant was busy.

We often make changes to combat the noise level. We try not to allow the Yogi Berrism "Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded." to apply to us. Glad the food and service were enough to come away with a positive experience. Thank you so much for leaving us this review.

Service was great, food was delicious. We’re vegetarian and they had great starters, salads, and sides we could eat. Some of best fried green tomatoes we’ve had.

Service was amazing. I wish I knew his name but we were on the porch back bar area and he had strawberry red hair. What a great guy! Our meal was perfect and the only thing off was the loudness of the room. Great time

Service can make the meal sometimes. Sorry, that the noise detracted from the experience somewhat. We consider ourselves lucky to have the business to generate a little volume from time to time but we understand a little peace and quiet at the end of the day is nice too. The food was great, we sat in a booth in the bar area, which was pretty quiet. Sometimes it’s so noisy you can’t have a conversation but that wasn’t the case last night. Our server was awesome too!

It does get loud in here sometimes. We are lucky to have those nights but we understand that it can make quiet conversation difficult sometimes. Sounds like you got to stretch out a bit and take things a bit slower which makes us glad to hear. Thank you for praising your server as well. We hope you come for some more great food soon!

I love Michael's restaurant! Our waitress was wonderful. We all ate the most delicious lobster rolls. My mom loved her cream of crab soup (we all did) where the Chefs put big chunks of crabmeat in, and our lobster rolls also had huge pieces of lobster 🦞 in them! My mom's almost 99 years old, but they treated her like a queen. We will continue taking mom to Michael's in Timonum, MD, as long as she's around and wants to go out.

Your mom should be treated like a queen wherever she goes. You paint a beautiful image with this review. We try to source the finest of ingredients whether that be seafood or something as simple as the pasta we use. We look forward to seeing you and yours back in our restaurant again sometime.

The stuff shrimp was not good , very loose and did not taste good , not fully cooked

Everyone from the hostess to the manager, Joe, were extremely friendly and attentive. The special was amazing, and so were the rest of the dishes. We will definitely go back

Server was excellent and super helpful. We subbed feta for blue cheese on the Brussels sprouts and they were amazing!!!!
