I was very disappointed with Michael's restaurant today for all the times we've gone there, I asked them to do one small thing - write "Happy 99th Birthday Beverly!" on their PAPER menu. I asked a month in advance. They couldn't do this. I should have gone somewhere else today. It was too loud in there with the game, and we don't get to visit her that often being out of state. I thought they could do this tiny request. A man who worked there said the reason they didn't bother was they printed their menus out digitally all at once. I said, "Well, after they are ALL printed digitally, you cannot take one menu and hand write this one to make a 99-year old's birthday a little more special? He had no answer for that. My husband reminded me that this is only done by fine dining restaurants (he's been a Chef at many Hyatts, Hiltons around the country) that care enough to do these extra little steps, not sports bar types where the sound is so loud, you cannot hear yourselves talk. Most reputable establishments go out of their way to make their dining guests have a more memorable experience. Unfortunately, Michael's does not care enough.

Carla, thank you for taking the time to provide your sincere and honest feedback. We apologize that it was not possible to hand write a menu for your mother's 99th birthday celebration. While we do not have access to the digital file from which the menus are printed, and thus cannot create a specialized a la carte menu, we do create personalized birthday celebration cards, which we give to each table that is celebrating. I regret that the birthday card was not sufficient for this very special birthday, but I can assure you that if you call the restaurant before your next visit, we will do everything in our power to ensure that additional steps are taken to ensure a personalized menu is created for you and your guests!

We were a party of 5 who hadn’t seen each other in awhile—-they gave us a great table in the back away from the hustle of the very crowded restaurant. It was great, service was very attentive and the food delicious! We definitely will return for another reunion!

Michael's Cafe is an overall impressive delight! Thus my 3 experiences have been a hit! Every bite in every meal has been memorable so much so it's keeps bringing me back for more. I always feel like I'm right home when I walk in. It's a must have!! Go and enjoy yourself!!

Excellent service from Skyler K. My wife thought the Maryland Crab soup was tasty and well-spiced. The broiled crab cake was one of the best she's had, and she is VERY picky about crab cakes. She also appreciated the crispy French Fries. My lobster was a treat; haven't had one in several years. The bread pudding a la mode was delicious. Prices are on the high side for these foods in my opinion, but the quality keeps the value very good.

I’ve been dining at Michaels Café for at least 25 years. They do so many things right. The menu is varied. The food is well prepared. The service is exceptional.

Weird went there for brunch. The expectation set by the taste and quality set by the starters did not get met by the main dishes. The home fries and sweet potatoes were not matching the rest of the food in taste and quality.

Food was very good. My initial beer was out, so I opted for a blue moon which did not taste correctly. It was otherwise an enjoyable experience.
