This was my first time at the Metuchen Inn and enjoyed every bit of it. Sat outside since the weather was good and service, drinks and food were great! Would definitely return!!

When we made the reservation we indicated it was out anniversary (54) and were surprised when we received two complimentary glasses of champagne. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the food was excellent. As an appetizer we shared the tuna and crab tower. For our entrees my wife had the scallops and I had ossobuco. And for dessert we shared the White Chocolate & Figs Bread Pudding which came on a large dish with Happy Anniversary written in a flavored jelly. Everything was absolutely delicious. We have never been here before but will definitely be going back.

This restaurant was on my list to visit for a long time. I was amazed at the service and the quality of food. The food was cooked perfectly, right down to the presentation. I would go back to this restaurant and would recommend it to others.

Lunch with friends ,and it was the perfect choice ,the food was delicious,the service friendly and impeccable .The elegant ,lovely decor and no noise made it great setting ,we were able to hear each other and enjoy every forkful. 5 stars for the accommodating servers and the Chef.

The service is very pleasant as usual! The calamari was a little chewy today and the mussels in my pasta kind of expired!!! However, they are utmost willing to redo my dish with out the bad seafood. Other than that, the short ribs and pasta sauce was very good as expected.

Birthday party dinner. Service was excellent George was great as was staff and manager. My only complaint was the Ceasar salad, it wasn’t a traditional dressing this one seemed sweeter it was good but not what I expected. Scallops, Halibut and Filet absolutely delicious.
