Great night for outdoor dining. Margaritas were delicious, and the traditional guacamole and queso con chorizo were delicious starters. We had everything from tacos and quesadillas to shrimp with scallops as entrees and all were excellent. There was some street noise with motorcycles revving their engines but for the most part it was quiet. Service was solid.

The chicken enchiladas could have been hotter temperature wise. I would also recommend not bringing out the entrées until the appetizers are finished.

Our food finally arrived and was lukewarm, except for the rice side dish, which was exceptionally hot. I do not like to complain and we were famished, so we started eating. I had ordered steak and grew more and more frustrated because it went cold quickly. My husband’s steak skewer and yuca fries were also cold. We should have stopped eating and just sent it back, but the waitress turned out to be someone who knew me from school. We tried to be nice, but couldn’t eat our dinner. We asked for the manager. We told her about our experience and she told us she was watching the time on our food and it wasn’t that late. And then she said she’d take care of it, as she lifted my plate of only half eaten steak and almost full bowl of rice and took it away. What she did was give us a 20% discount. Seriously? I hardly ate any food! We will not be going back to Mesa anytime soon. Just a complete and utter disappointment!

This was our first time at the restaurant. The service was very good and the waitress was very friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were amazing and the prices were very affordable. We sat outside (Our choice) in the oppressive heat, but was still comfortable; maybe inside next time. I would recommend to anyone and we will be returning very soon.

We know it was a Sunday night and we know restaurants are short staffed - however our server service was very disappointing. She seemed as if she wanted to be anywhere than there and her behavior was consistently so. Food and beverages were delicious as always so we will be back.

We had a girls night… service was great! Food was great! But the best part was this… there was a bad storm outside and the lights kept flickering to the point where we all thought the power would be out any minute. I saw the concern in the managers face and quickly just handed the server my card so she could close out my bill before they lost power. She was so apologetic but really no need! About 20 mins later they offered us free dessert for being so understanding!! it wasn’t necessary but we were grateful! Treat your customers well and they will always return! ❤️

I eat here fairly often. Recently, I tried the fried yucca. It is sooooo good. I personally feel cooking yucca is a lot of work, but now I can eat it hassle- free.

Could be the worst Mexican food I’ve eaten. The steak fajitas had a sauce that tasted like General Tso chicken. It was thick, too sweet and had zucchini which I’ve never had in a fajita platter. The hanger steak was really tough and you couldn’t bite through it, you ended up pulling whole pieces out of your tortillas. My wife had the hanger steak entree and the meat was the same chewy, tough texture. She ordered it medium rare. Our server was training someone, but service was overall very poor and inattentive. We really looked forward to trying this place, but we’re very disappointed. We will not be going back.
