This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the Seabrook/Kemah area. The food is fantastic, I’ve only ever had great service. It is a little on the pricey side, but the portions are large and the quality is consistently excellent.

Had a great time in the bar during happy hour. Tried several appetizers and a meal. All were great. The wait staff was excellent helping us with questions and adjustments to our meals.

Great service from Brian, and really wonderful appetizers. The Crab Bisque is amazing, as is the Merlion Thai Peanut Sauce Curry. The Panang was delicious, and the Mussels were excellent. However, I could not help but notice that they were a little understaffed on this evening. It was a very long time between courses, but we still enjoyed the experience. I guess that their offering a fixed Valentine's menu for the first two weeks of February, is slowing up the process in the kitchen a bit. But it's a wonderful venue, and we love dining here.

Absolutely love this place for birthdays! They make the birthday feel so special! Delicious wine and curry and mussels! Will always return!

The server was absolutely the best part of the experience! The ambience is great. However the curry was absolutely disappointing:(. I had the peanut curry and it tasted like crunchy peanut butter, not a smooth Thai peanut curry I’m used to. I believe my friend wasn’t super happy with hers either. I’m not sure I will be going back any time soon, and this used to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants. Not sure what happened, but for the price, I could barely eat it. I’m sad to leave a less than stellar review, and this is just my opinion.

My wife and I love Merlion. From the time you walk in until you leave, you are met by professionals. The food, drinks, and atmosphere is amazing.

We enjoyed an excellent evening, complete with fantastic service from Katie, wonderful appetizers, and a stellar wine selection. The crab bisque is amazing, as is the softshell crab appetizer. The Merlion Thai Peanut Sauce Curry dish was fantastic, with fresh Gulf shrimp. We love getting our main course with glass noodles instead of rice; makes the dishes absolutely perfect. Try one of the special house-made Martinis; they are all wonderful. We were also fortunate to say hello to Jacob (one of the best waiters here), and to Bernice (the restaurant manager). They are all family to us, because we love this place so much.
