Such a loved place to go. One of my very favorites. My husband had the surf and turf special, Saturday night. I had two broiled lobster tails . Both dishes were excellent. We also had the clams casino as an appetizer, very good, and my husband had snapper soup, not a favorite. The chocolate mousse cake was tasty especially if you like chocolate. The service was impeccable, by our Iranian waiter. Also the lady who comes around with the bread and butter , and fills the water glasses is ALWAYS on top of things.

We celebrated our 54th anniversary. We had a lovely table for two. Our server was outstanding and the food was excellent. It was a special evening and is our “go to” place. Thank you!

Jeremy our waiter, I think he is somewhat new. We haven’t had him before, but he was quite good. He was attentive fast everything you look for in a server. The food was superior to many of the restaurants around the 52 corridor. The food is always beautifully plated cooked to perfection and tonight I took home a box of leftovers.

I had the prime rib which was done to perfection. My husband had a seafood dish which he loved. Someone got crab cakes and enjoyed them. There were no complaints. Our server was attentive. We have never had a bad meal there.

Wonderful happy hour experience in the bar area followed by our anniversary meal in the main room which was superb. Everything was excellent and wanted to leave a 5 star review but OpenTable's access requirement to leave a review was similar to accessing our banking statement. We dine out frequently and have not experienced this requirement bebfore. Regardless, we will be dining at Mendenhall again.

Lovely experience for Fathers Day. Server was friendly and attentive. We were served quickly. I thought the halibut special smelled a little fishy and I’m picky about that - fish should have zero scent if it’s super fresh. I had the shrimp stuffed with crab meat and it was delicious. We were told no substitutions on the dinner specials, which I understand in sone respects (people’s special requests are so ridiculous these days) - but my dad just wanted to sub in broccoli for the asparagus - this does not seem difficult to accommodate…I think in this day and age the chef should loosen up a bit, especially on holidays. The server actually did end up giving me broccoli so I was able to swap with my Dad. But otherwise a very nice dinner!
