    Love Melt. Perfect place to take hubby for his birthday. Food is always good, we never have anything bad to say or comment. Waiter was also great!

    The portion sizes are not comparable to the price tag. I understand that it is a fancy restaurant but it wasn't worth the cost.

    Melt is a beautiful restaurant. The service was great. Divine was our wait person and we got nothing but praise for Divine's attentiveness. There were several of us. Some salads were fine, but the Caesar was dry and so so. Extra dressing did not help the Caesar ,because it was mayonnaise based, and didn't really provide any liquidity to combat the dryness. The white anchovies were a nice touch, but they really didn't work and actually made the salad taste off. The pastas were good, but something that everyone who had pasta noticed, which is the reverse of the usual, no one felt that they had enough pasta (to protein and/or sauce) in their portions. I, for one, actually left over protein because I did not have enough pasta to eat with it. The gazpacho special was more like cold tomato soup and was missing the flavors usually associated with gazpacho. It was the beauty of the restaurant and the wonderful staff that really made the evening work for us, not the food.

    It was a casual dinner. We sat at the bar. I had a lovely cocktail and the Hubs had a tasty IPA —we enjoyed both. My appetizer of a crab cake was light, not over salty and had just crab meat, hardly any filler. My main entree was scallops with a side Ceasar salad (we’re not big eaters, so we shared the salad). My husband had the plate of the five-cheese ravioli which he said was very flavorful, especially the sauce. We enjoyed all of our meal.

    The food was excellent. The ambience was excellent. Service was extremely slow, waters took 30 mins to be brought out and served, appetizers and entrees were not synchronous. Our waiter, Divine, seemed like we were not his priority- seemed like we were given the short end of the stick throughout the experience. Surprise birthday celebration was also ruined when the waiter gave the cake to the wrong person. Missed drinks, delayed food, lack of attention was our takeaway. Food quality was great, portions were excellent so thorough compliments to chef.

    Underwhelming. Waiter/ host was fairly inattentive. We were celebrating an anniversary , which was shared in reservation yet no mention or offer of congratulations .
