    We had an amazing first real date at Melt. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend Melt for date night or a family dinner outing.

    Nice atmosphere but food is only mediocre. This is how I remembered it from several years ago- and after last night my opinion is unchanged! Much better options for Italian in the area ( tre scalini in Bethlehem!) Cocktails were very slow to arrive!! Best part of meal was fried calamari with delicious aioli. Caesar salad was blah Server was excellent

    Everything was delicious and priced accordingly. We had multiple cocktails, bottle Of wine, apps and entrees and everything was amazing. We even had a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating with gluten free options .. we would love to see a gluten free/ cauliflower crust pizza… but overall no complaints only great things to say about Melt!

    Atmosphere was great - very crowded (a good thing); service was outstanding. Main courses were excellent. Dessert also excellent (chocolate cake). Sides were good, but not warm enough, same with coffee with dessert. Would definitely go back.

    This is rare. I'm not usually so picky that I reply to requests to review a restaurant. I'm making an exception in this case. We have been patronizing Melt for special family occasions since it first opened. Our visits have averaged about three times a year for almost twenty years now. After this visit we have decided to find a new 'go to' eatery. 1.) The atmosphere. The beginning of this survey asked about the "noise level". The options ranged from "quiet" to "energetic". One option should be "Just plain loud". In addition to the music being too loud, it was also the wrong genre; an annoying mix of rap and invasive high tempo rock. I requested that our waiter look into getting the music turned down or switched to a more appropriate genre. When he returned, I expected to hear something like "I spoke with the manager and we've made an adjustment to the volume. Let me know if this is satisfactory." Instead, our waiter stated: "I spoke with the manager. We don't want to turn the music down too much because customers will hear other people's conversations." I replied; "We can't hear our OWN conversation." End of discussion. We won't be back. 2.) Our waiter. This point is difficult to pin down because waiting is an art, but there were too many instances when our waiter was overly intrusive, interrupted our conversation, or reached across members of our party. Again, difficult to pin down, but our waiter's manner was annoying at times. In addition, the naked woman tattooed on our waiter's forearm was not appreciated. We won't be back. 3.) Food. Two of the four people in our party ordered beef entree's cooked medium rare. Both were rare. To his credit, our waiter did inquire if all the entree's were "OK". We did not send them back because doing so seemed problematic. The BEST option is to prepare the food correctly the FIRST time. Also, there was a side dish of broccoli served which included tomatoes. The tomatoes were awful. We won't be back.

    Only disappointed that Prime Rib is no longer offered. They do cook the steaks much more on the rare side here.

    Scallops are excellent. Steaks were excellent…some difficulty in cutting meat as steak knives could better. Free birthday dessert is no longer served.
