Mcgills is nostalgic to us so the food feels like a family celebration. We were warmly greeted by Rhonda and seated quickly. Tonight we were served by Fugio and he gave perfect service. He was professional and on point but very down to earth and friendly. We went straight to the main course with the signature blue cheese cream sauce KC strip and Prime Rib. Our potatoes and vegetables were good and the steaks were great. We followed up with crème brûlée. My only comment would be that I prefer more of a caramelized crust as ours seems to have a sprinkle and while the sized appears small, there was just enough for us to share and the custard was smooth and delicious.

The food was terrific and the service was impeccable. My extra dry martini was truly excellent. My wife had crab cakes and salmon which were both extremely well prepared and delicious. My prime rib was cooked just like I ordered it and was very tasty. Our three guests all also enjoyed their entrees. Timely and efficient service. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner.

McGill’s is our go to special occasion restaurant when visiting Tulsa. Service is impeccable, the meal excellent, the atmosphere comfortable and sophisticated. The bartender produces excellent cocktails, and there is a diverse wine menu. We will visit again next year.

Our server was friendly and appropriately attentive. Didn’t interrupt our business conversation too often. Noise level was low and made it easy to have a conversation. Be sure to indicate what temp you want your salmon cooked. Otherwise, it will be well done.

Our waiter was excellent. We had a table of four. Sourdough bread starter was very good. I had the orange roughy which came with plain rice and zucchini. My husband ordered Scallops over risotto. My mother and my son ordered cheeseburgers. Both of them found the burgers excellent! My husband had the special, four small scallops over mushroom risotto, $48, and it was very good, but a small portion for the price. My roughy was okay, an issue I noticed was I asked for broccoli (a side on the menu) instead of the vegetable (zucchini), charged $6 extra for the swapout making it $34. On the menu I saw only a steak got a side of a baked potato, all other entrees had basic rice. Salads were extra. A bit pricey and inflexible, the starch, rice or potato, should be interchangeable on entree! I suspect there would be another charge to swap for a baked potato. My husband ordered 2 beers, mom had water, and my son and I a soft drink. Our price w/ tip was about $178, definitely a bit pricey for the amount of food, and quality of food. But the waiter was excellent, noise level was not loud, the atmosphere was pleasant. 4 stars overall, 3.5 on menu/pricing/food quality. Thank you.

Although, they had an evening special Prime Rib cut, my wife and I both ordered Prime Rib off the menu. We both ordered cooked to medium, my wife enjoyed her cut, but I soon wished now I would have gone with the evening special cut as I found my cut to be a bit stringy and fatty. We do enjoy McGill's and even though it was a bit early we were surprised that there weren't more full tables. As for our server, she was pleasant and attentive. Our drinks from the bar were also a Lemon Drop Martini for my wife and a Macallan Scotch (ordered neat) was a descent pour although the menu cost $17 and the bill cost $19 were off by $2. We will return but next time I would personally order a steak or the Pasta Lobster which sounds delicious. Eat Local!

We had the most amazing waiter. I am big on customer service, as we own two businesses. We like to get treated as we treat our customers, and that’s hard to find anymore. Larry was our waiter and he made us feel as if we were having a million dollar meal! Extremely professional. Not too over bearing, yet he noticed our every need. He needs an award as we are very particular about everything we order, and how we like our food. He got everything just right. We had the crab cakes to start. Then our main course was the ribeye, baked potato, and a wedge salad. We opted for the carrot cake for dessert. All of which were fantastic in every way. He made our meal spectacular from the moment we walked in and he greeted us, and asked very politely if we had dinner reservations. Thank you Larry - for the outstanding service and for being so helpful and kind, as that is what we hope to encounter each time we dine out. We will absolutely be back, and we will also request him if McGill’s allows us to do so.

We had a wonderful dining experience. Our table was ready when we arrived. We started with salads and a French onion soup, which was wonderful! We had a Ribeye steak and the small Filet. They were both cooked perfectly. The grilled squash and zucchini were well seasoned. Our waiter was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. Cheesecake and carrot cake for dessert. It was a wonderful birthday celebration and we hope to return again soon.

Best steak I've ever had...I've lived in tulsa for years and have never tried it. I've missed out.
