Tucked into the heart of downtown Anderson, SC, McGee's Irish Pub & Restaurant offers a distinct alternative to regular eating and drinking establishments. Diversity is the key to McGee's special appeal. Business people appreciate the quality of our menu served in our private meeting room. Others prefer to linger, quietly enjoying the evening and forgetting the world outside. We offer a wide selection of ales and lagers, with a seasonal specialty brew always on tap to please the "stoutest" of beer enthusiasts. Our bar also offers an extensive list of top shelf scotches, Irish whiskies, and cordials.
However, the real pleasure of visiting our pub comes from our kitchen. McGee's Irish Pub's kitchen staff offers top quality, full course meals and table service on par with upscale dining restaurant in the region at a fraction of the price. We also feature an 80+ wine list designed by owner & Wine Spectator Award winner John Benca.

We can bring a variety of cuisines to any facility and can bountifully feed up to 1000 people in primative conditions. Please allow us to bid for you next corporate picnic, family reunion, or festival.

We have a central stage, a house sound system, projection equipment, & microphones for speaking. If special audio visual set up is needed, please advise when inquiring about an event. Prices vary depending on the day of the week and menu choices. Please call and ask to speak with our Events Coordinator for general estimates. The Private Room: Our private dining room is available for private dining up to 30 people. We offer our regular menu and no special arrangements need be made save for a simple reservation.

My had a burger that was excellent carefully assembled it looked delicious and was. I had a chicken and pasta dish that had a light herb sauce the chicken was tender and the sauce light and flavorful. I will order it again.

Great food, not too busy and a terrific waitress! It had been a while since we went to McGee’s, but it was a treat! We won’t wait so long next time!

Place looks cool. It plays off the Irish wanting a pub to feel like an extension of your living room. If so, can we get some more comfortable seating? Put pads on the benches. I know you want to turn tables, but if it's not comfortable at all, then people won't want to come back. Sercixe was great. Almost checked on us too much. Food was presented well. I went with Irish stew and was a little disappointed. It was average. Not enough seasoning. Either lower the price or increase the portion. I'd never pay $23 for that again. The Guiness was poured well and my GF had a NA Gujness which was a good offering. (She's pregnant.) She liked her burger and fries. We will give this place another shot. I've been to N Ireland. I have friends there. We support the Ulster side. I've also eaten at a few places there. I know this place has some work to do, but hopefully, can achieve it. I'd love to put this place on rotation. We've only been here a cpl months and are trying everywhere,lol
