   We arrived about 20 minutes early and decided to set inside as we had a long shot walk from the hotel. Every appetizer and entree was delicious! Fried calamari, burrata, short rib ravioli and veal chop were top notch. Highly recommend. Gabriel did any excellent job taking care of us.

   The host was too touchy feely it was a bit much. Food was great. Too loud, the place is too small for love music or at least lower the volume on the speakers. The singers can sing but I was screaming, trying to speak with my friend who was right next to me.

   Matteos has traditionally been an outstanding Italian eatery. My most recent visit resulted in mediocre food, slow service and high prices. They need to up their game.

   Would not go back. Noisy and terrible service. Never got the menues.

   Staff were attentive and professional. The food was mediocre: chicken Marsala prepared with canned mushrooms! The Caesar salad dressing was tasty and not too heavy, but for some reason, like in many other restaurants, there was a lot of white (stem) of the lettuce, much of it browning around the edges, rather than green leafy romaine lettuce. The interior of the restaurant was extremely busy (Friday night evening around 8:00), so quite noisy. The staff was happy to accommodate our reservation request for outdoor seating (we had to wait a few minutes), which wasn’t as loud.

   Food was great, staff very friendly and accommodating to our toddler. Timely service as well. Gorgeous night to sit outside and they put shades down so the sun wasn’t in our eyes.

   If you like Italian food this is the place to eat in Fort Lauderdale area, athentic Italian cuisine at a very affordable price, hands down highly recommended.

    Busy spot for traditional Italian dishes. Huge menu. Service was prompt and adequate with no pretenses of personal input or personal customer service. Food was tasty and came hot and delicious. Portions are large. The room was very loud. Almost beyond reasonable conversation. Then some live music added to the high volume. Cocktail service was disappointing. The bar uses tiny little glasses. Not sure how many ounces, but not many. Drinks lacked adequate Ice, but with those tiny glasses it made sense. My manhattan was mostly vermouth, but the Gin and Tonic was fine. $15 for those tiny glasses makes me wish we would have had the wine. Nice big wine list is offered.
