We reserved a table a month in advance, but upon arrival, we were given a different table than the one we requested. When we asked to be moved to our original table, we were told there was a $4,000 minimum spend. To our surprise, when other guests were seated there, they told us no such requirement had been mentioned to them.
Additionally, we had to wait 40 minutes for the table we had reserved. While waiting, we ordered a cocktail at the bar and later asked the waiter to bring us the same cocktail to the table—but what we received was completely different.
When the waiter tried to upsell us on an expensive bottle and we declined, his attitude noticeably changed for the worse. The food was brought out all at once—starters and mains together—at an unreasonable speed, completely ruining the dining experience.
On top of that, we couldn’t shake the feeling that we weren’t welcome—almost as if, by not ordering an expensive bottle, we weren’t considered "worthy" customers.
In short, the service was disappointing, the way we were treated was unfair, and the entire experience was far from justifying the price. We did not enjoy ourselves, and it’s highly unlikely we’ll ever return.
