Food and service were both great. Music was to loud in dinning room, and tables were to close together.

We understand that our ambiance is more upbeat than most other steakhouses, but we'll make sure to keep an ear on the music so it isn't too loud. Delicious food and hospitality with the restaurant. They did provide a complimentary drink, app and bread which was refreshing in today’s environment but you do essentially pay for it with the food and drink prices. There was an employee benefits charge on the receipt for $12 which seems to be common around downtown chicago area with fine dining. Spent around $500 for two people with each of us ordering one drink, small seafood tower that included one large prawn, clams, and one scallop. Bf ordered a ribeye which was absolutely delicious and melted in your mouth. Side of Mac and cheese was delicious with some citrus flavor and the dessert was good. The prawn was also delicious but not sure that a prawn, clams and one scallop warrants $120. However overall dining experience and food taste was amazing.

Amazing service and food. Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday and they did a phenomenal job making her feel special. Sarah was our server and she was exceptional. We also took our teenage boys and she also made them feel special. I was impressed and my expectations were surpassed. Will definitely be back.

It was unbelievable. Exquisite food and service. The only issue was that we had 1pm brunch reservations and it’s a multi course meal. At 4pm we were just finishing dessert and we were told we had to finish up so they could get dinner service ready. We spent $600 on brunch - I don’t like being told when I have to leave. Don’t take late brunch reservations if you want everyone out before dinner service.

The meal began with the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio—delicate, melt-in-your-mouth slices bursting with rich flavor and perfectly balanced seasoning. The Foie Gras followed, decadently smooth and expertly prepared. For the main course, the Dry-Aged Ribeye was exceptional. Cooked to perfection, it boasted deep, robust flavors and a buttery texture that showcased the quality of the cut. The accompanying pastas were equally impressive, crafted with care and full of bold, comforting flavors. Dessert was a standout with the Chocolate Mousse Cake, a rich yet airy creation that was the perfect sweet finish to the evening. Complementing the meal, Maple & Ash’s expertly crafted cocktails elevated the experience even further. Each drink was thoughtfully prepared, balancing creativity with classic elegance. Throughout the evening, the attentive service ensured a seamless dining experience—every detail was handled with care, from knowledgeable recommendations to perfectly timed courses.

Honestly didn't have the best experience this time. Haven't been in several years, and this time, I left feeling so degraded and talked down to by my server, all on my birthday. He continuously talked down to me as if I were poor because I wasn't in the mood for steak and I wasn't trying to drink alcohol. Not sure why I tipped appropriately after that but I guess I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, however, I left with a very sour taste in my mouth and did not feel that I had a great experience. Also not sure why a SERVER would try to make a MONDAY NIGHT STEAK HOUSE CUSTOMER feel poor... The food was also unfortunately not as impressive as I remember, but that wasn't my issue. My issue was being made to feel poor by my server as I felt pressured to order food that I did not want. I even ordered extra food because I felt bad he wanted the tip or something, but then felt like he shamed me for not ordering steaks or extra drinks. Also the salmon was not good, but I continued to tip on that and keep it anyway because I felt bad he seemed so desperate for the tips. I wasn't even hungry but ordered extra food to take home since once again- he seemed so desperate for the tips. He even brought out the check like "I knew you weren't going to order dessert so I came prepared" like dude- I'm full and on a diet. Anyway, interesting experience to be insulted by my WAITER on my birthday.

Service was excellent, steals were more charred than seasoned but cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts were wispy and I expected hearty. Overall it was a wonderful experience and meal, the sundae bar was awesome!
