Excellent food and service. Also very casual which is a bonus. If looking for good food with a Low key atmosphere then highly recommend.

I found this restaurant via Open Table when looking for a new-to-us restaurant for Italian for a friend of mine and myself. Even as a party of 2, being a Saturday evening, several familiar places had no availability. I have been in this area since I was a kid in school. In high school, I was introduced to my favorite Italian place, Federico’s, where I frequently had lunches with people from my job at a law firm in what was the only tall building in town center. I’ve celebrated birthdays, baby showers, special occasions, dates, etc in the warm wooden walls of that favorite restaurant. I was heartbroken when it closed. Reading the menu of Mangia Qui, I discovered that the owner was an apprentice of Federico, was his executive chef, and was fortunate enough to learn the authentic Italian recipes for years! I was so excited that I was teary-eyed, reminiscing about the food and memories, and pumper her up about what she was in for! We shared an appetizer special of fried green tomato Caprese, and she had a tortellini dish while I enjoyed a shrimp and scallop a la vodka. Pasta: freshly made, soft and tender EXACTLY like what I just made last month in Bologna! Sauce: rich, complex, balanced and delicious! Seafood: large shrimp, tender sweet scallops. I was elated! This IS my new favorite Italian “home”! I cannot wait to take my husband with me next time! My friend and I loved our meals and had plenty to take home for later, so we did just that and shared a 3rd generation recipe of the freshest tiramisu. It was so light and airy, creamy and perfect as the finishing touch for the evening. I cannot recommend highly enough if you love authentic Italian cuisine. Enjoy!

We went on Wednesday night for the pizza special. The restaurant was crowded and we had to wait quite a while for our pizza. The food was good, but the waiter sure could have used some help. We may just go on non special nights as this was not a normal experience for us.

While on vacation from NY and a Sicilian husband, we had to find a good Italian restaurant during our stay. The search ended at Mangia Qui! Our waiter, drinks, appetizer, dinner, and desserts were wonderful! It was a fun & relaxing dinner experience. I would definitely recommend Mangia Qui to all & we will be returning each time we vacation or pass thru the area. Thank you for amazing food & your equally amazing staff ❤️
