We had an amazing dinner with friends. Food was delicious and our waiter did a fabulous job. It was our first time at Mambo Italiano and we will absolutely be back!

We were a party of four who all came together in one car. We checked in on time and were told that our table would soon be ready. After observing that parties who checked in after us were being seated, my daughter was told that they were waiting for our entire party to check in before seating us. She pointed out that when we first checked in we were a complete party. The gentlemen at the host desk the argued with her! Nevertheless we were soon seated The service and food are outstanding which is why I am giving five stars. A simple apology instead of an argument would have been appreciated. The hostess who did mistakenly list us as a partial party did apologize and that was greatly appreciated

2 entrees ordered, salads, bread very good, also the tilapia was tasty. Chicken Marsala was ordinary and the chicken was tough. The best Marsala chicken is at Buckinghams Steakhouse in Elgin. Our waiter Angel did an excellent job.

Food is alway excellent here! We were seated on the newer side which was very quiet. A nice evening with friends because we could hear each other talk! The lights were a little too bright in the beginning so it felt like a cafeteria, but they were dimmed and it was much nicer.
