Maison Carlos is a continental restaurant with an emphasis on French and Italian cuisine. Carlos and Lanie Farias opened Maison Carlos in December of 2002. After seven years on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, the couple made the decision to move their establishment a couple miles south to the El Cid neighborhood. They wanted a smaller restaurant with more of a neighborhood vibe. The new space has only eleven tables and is open for dinner only. Carlos is there every night, seating people, taking orders and is very hands on. Being open only for dinner Carlos spends his days shopping for the restaurant, selecting only the freshest ingredients.

Would have given five stars but when we entered no one checked us in had to wait awhile as the waiter was doing that as well. It was my husbands bd and they wanted to seat us by door he was ready to walk out as I made the plans two months ago and asked for a nice table but they finally gave us a table in back . Note all table are for four people no real twos except o e by door . Horrible set up but good food

Excellent food and service!!! Everyone was superb. Great ambiance, cosy. Loved everything about it. Carlos put up a great team which guarantees a great experience. Great recommendation from Casa Grandview. A great way to end the year. Will definitely return!

New Year’s Eve dinner was perfect. From our greeting to our seating and nthroughout the evening. Veal in a delicate sauce was superb as was my wife’s branzino. Her starter of a cheese soufflé and my clams casino were excellent as well. This is our third NYE dinner at Maison Carlos and deo volente the tradition will continue. What a great way to end one year and start the next.

Food and service at Maison Carlos never disappoint. We make a point of dining there every December when we go to Palm Beach.

The service is probably the best in PB Co. The food is always fantastic, I've never had a bad meal in all the years we've been dining here. On this last visit, they even made us a dish that's usually an off-season special. I'd talked it up so much to my out of town family, not realizing it was off-menu, but they offered to make it for us anyway. Exceptional in every way.

Hadn’t been to Maison Carlos since COVID. Frankly it had slipped our minds. But, that was our loss! The food was terrific as was the service. Pricing is very reasonable and the paintings on the walls beautiful! We will be back soon.

We were made to feel welcome upon entering this small restaurant. ( maybe 10 tables). The complementary fried zucchini chips were crisp and salted. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers . We sampled the vichyssoise, beet and goat cheese salad and a warm goat and tomato terrine. All were delicious and enjoyed . Three of us ordered the duck breast that was served with crispy frittes. Although tasty , we all decided that it was just slightly overcooked and a bit chewy . The fourth of our party had the chicken and risotto which he said was perfect. We will go back as the escargot in a bowl is magnificent! As is the veal scallopini which we’ve had in the past.
