Maggie's Restaurant, a Carroll County tradition of hospitality and great food for over 44 years. Maggie's was completely renovated in 2021.                                                                   Great service. Manager checked on tables. Food was tasty. Enjoyed sitting the deck outside and the several choices of Mocktails and Cocktails. Negatives-appetizer came out luke warm and there was no creme brulee even though it was in the menu.

                                                                  Everyone was very friendly and prompt with service. The manager came by to check on us. Drinks and food were served in a timely manner. All the food was delicious! Great food , service, and prices! We will go back.

                                                                  My salmon dish with brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes was very good! My husband ordered Maryland crab soup, which he said wasn’t very good. He also ordered a burger that he wanted as rare as they could cook it, but it was pretty well done. The desserts were very good! Our waiter was really attentive and funny. I really like that we didn’t feel like we were rushed at all. We had an enjoyable evening with our friends sitting outside.

                                                                  Both had the Friday fish and chips special. Fish very lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. Fries excellent. Wife had the onion soup which she said was very good. Great value.

                                                                  Our server and hostess were some of the friendliest people I have met. The food was great and outdoor patio was very relaxing! I definitely will return.

                                                                  Maggie's is a Westminster staple and has existed in this town for a very very long time. It passed owners at a certain point in the recent past, had a bit of a rocky re-opening, but I believe it's seasonal menu and classy upgraded ambiance has given it a more distinct identity compared to other restaurants around here. That being said, the food is always been tasty and the staff have been amazing. It's going to be a more modern dining experience compared to other available options to dine in Westminster for sure. They also have a bar option available with that English tavern feel, and a nice deck for outdoor eating. If I am going for a casual meal, I get the pickle chips and the blue cheese burger, which I think is called black and blue- however I cant quite remember what it is specifically called on the menu.
