Service was wonderful. Very attentive and agreeable. We were blessed to have arrived for Happy Hour, so benefitted from some very tasty food items. Even though I had made a reservation thru Open Table, I was a bit disappointed that we were seated somewhere close to the door, so that every time it opened, we got a cold breeze, and that perhaps contributed to some of our food cooling before it should have. But it was delicious, and we left for our theatre performace with full, happy tummies. Next time, I will try to remember to make a request to be seating farther into the building.

The food was below average and the door kept opening letting in a huge cold blast of air. Anyone sitting in the front section was uncomfortable. The Caesar salad was not edible, and the steak had so much fat, it was not well trimmed prior to cooking. We were disappointed by our experience.

The Luxe is a fine restaurant for a special evening. Excellent service and food. Pleasant and attractrive setting.

We booked a table but on arriving at the restaurant it was closed for a private party, very disappointing as we then had to find somewhere else at short notice. Why did open table take this booking.

Booked a reservation on open table for my family. We travelled from Peterborough. When we got to the restaurant they were having a private function and did not let us in. Open table had confirmed twice prior to make sure we were coming. We had to scramble to find another restaurant available last minute on a Saturday night in the busy byward market.

Decided to go to luxe last minute, on a spontaneous trip to Ottawa, as I live not to far over the border in New York. We were sat quickly as we had a reservation, our waiter Spencer was very kind and helpful. All the food was amazing and it was super hard to make a choice cause everything sounded wonderful! Would and will go again!

My adult daughter and I had a great seat which was inside but open to the outside. I had a large lunch so wasn’t very hungry so ordered 6 oysters and the French Onion soup. Both were delicious. My daughter ordered the duck and said it was very good. We had a delicious martini with dinner.

Took a few coworkers for a lunch celebration and it was a success. Ambiance was good, food was delicious and staff was friendly.
