Unfortunately the food was not to the standard we were expecting. The steak was very tiny and covered in a sauce which we were not expecting, but the quality and the way it was cooked was good. My husband at coque de vine and it was chewy, tasteless and watery. The vegetables with it looked like canteen vegetables. Definitely not the standard we were expecting

The menu is too complicated. This is included, but that isn't.. I ordered from the daily set menu, a whole cornish sole and was surprised to be charged for vegetables.

No wonder Lussmans are opening new restaurants when so many others are closing. The Harpenden site is a lovely location with plenty of seating inside and out whilst remaining intimate. The food is beautifully cooked and presented with a varied menu. The service was friendly and attentive without being stuffy. Would recommend for a special occasion as prices can be on the high side.

This is such a nice restaurant. I have been a number of times and the main course I had this time was the best ever. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
