Le Luma réinvente les soirées cinéma au TIFF Bell Lightbox. Installé à l'angle de King Street et de John Street, le TIFF Bell Lightbox accueille le Festival international du film de Toronto. Il comprend cinq salles de cinéma, trois galeries d'exposition et un grand espace événementiel au sixième étage. Rendant hommage au riche paysage culturel de Toronto, le menu du Luma met en valeur les cuisines mondiales et canadiennes artisanales préparées à partir des meilleurs ingrédients de la région. La cuisine originale et imaginative du chef Michael Wilson se marie à la perfection à la salle à manger chaleureuse et accueillante du Luma, ornée de riches boiseries, de cuir et de pierre, ainsi que d'une superbe baie vitrée donnant sur King Street West. Great food and ambience! Music was fun but very loud, so if you want to be able to converse while eating, maybe do not select that option while booking.

Our waiter was super nice and kind. We went for our anniversary and they treated us wonderfully. Our food was good and the champagne was very nice as well

Awesome! Excellent food at a reasonable price point, lovely ambiance, tasty cocktails, and the service was pleasant, quick, and responsive. The best restaurant experience I've had in a while.

I always hate leaving bad reviews because I know things can be tough in restaurants (I served). We were asked when we sat down if we had a show to catch and we said yes we have the leave latest 7:15. The whole service was slow, drinks took like 20mins+, and the server was really never at the table. We had to flag down whoever was available just to get refills and extra things like water/salt & pepper. We did order apps,mains and a quick dessert but were there for over and hour and half and the pacing was all over the place. Food was ok for the money, pricey for what we got. We ended up needing to rush out to catch our show and the whole experience was just lacking in service and made everyone stressed because we kept having to watch the clock. Maybe it was a bad day but don’t dine here for value or speed….

A pre-concert dinner at 6 pm was a popular time slot with half a dozen large tanle groups that the restaurant was well staffed for but kept Gabrielle, our assigned server, busy nonetheless. To his credit, the night's manager Tamur jumped in & took our order & even found time to chat. My wife & I shared the asparagus & humus salad, followed by my snow crab carbonara with fiddleheads & her steak tartare with generous toasted baguette slices. The cheapest red on the wine list was an excellent discovery. Bravo O&B.
