Le Luma réinvente les soirées cinéma au TIFF Bell Lightbox. Installé à l'angle de King Street et de John Street, le TIFF Bell Lightbox accueille le Festival international du film de Toronto. Il comprend cinq salles de cinéma, trois galeries d'exposition et un grand espace événementiel au sixième étage. Rendant hommage au riche paysage culturel de Toronto, le menu du Luma met en valeur les cuisines mondiales et canadiennes artisanales préparées à partir des meilleurs ingrédients de la région. La cuisine originale et imaginative du chef Michael Wilson se marie à la perfection à la salle à manger chaleureuse et accueillante du Luma, ornée de riches boiseries, de cuir et de pierre, ainsi que d'une superbe baie vitrée donnant sur King Street West. Le Luma est ouvert pour le dîner du lundi au vendredi et pour le souper du lundi au samedi. Vous pourrez aussi prendre un verre ou un repas léger dans le spacieux bar-lounge. Honestly, I feel like Luma is a hidden gem. Thankfully this restaurant was included in the Summerlicious options, and my friends and I had decided to book reservation for a beautiful 3-course menu. The food and presentation was very competitive to other trendier spots you might find in Yorkville or King Street. The service was lovely and I loved the space and ambiance. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the tomato salad with pesto was yummy. Ooooo the tuna tartar with chips on top was very appetizing. I was surprisingly impressed. 😎 I also had a taste of my friend's beef dish and it tasted lovely - it was paired with some beautifully tasting croquettes. We had a variety of desserts that were all very exceptional. Highly recommend this gem, and I would definitely accompany anyone for a moment to remember 😉😀.

We tried the tuna tartar from the Summerlicious menu & the burrata from the regular menu both delicious. The winner of the night was the Wagyu! From potato fondant to the meat itself, all cut like butter. So tasty! Our server was professional & friendly and most of all attentive. We tried two Magic Hour cocktails, Guardians of the Guava & Downtown Margarita - a steal for $8 each!

The brunch food was not good and was not warm. The restaurant was almost entirely empty but the food took so long to come out and was not hot when it did. The cocktails were delicious and well-priced. The staff was lovely. I wouldn’t go back for brunch but I may go back for dinner.

Had dinner here before a show. We had the summerlicious menu. Main courses didn’t have much flavor but portions were a good size. Not a place we’d visit again.

No issues with service, and I thought the ambience was great. However, I didn't think the food was quite as advertised, which is why I gave the food only 3 stars. Caesar salad: Very good. Though I would suggest mentioning that it comes with hard boiled egg and anchovy garnishes, as not everybody likes these on the side (Yes I'm aware that Caesar dressing has anchovies in it) Truffle rigatoni: I'd call it "meh". Not bad but not outstanding either. Not quite what was advertised in the photos. Didn't see any slices of truffle but could taste some. Was lacking a bit in seasoning as well and I found that it was cold in places. Chocolate mousse cake: Very good. Not sure I liked the crust as much as some other types of crusts but the mousse itself was very good. I think a thinner biscoff crust would have gone better with this. Overall, not bad, but not outstanding.

Great dinner! Food was delicious and we had the best service. All the staff were friendly, professional and very personable. Enjoyed our experience very much and look forward to our next visit!

We enjoyed our time at Luma before we went to a show. We arrived early at 5 pm and enjoyed half price drinks. We had the three course dinner and each course was excellent. I would recommend the shrimp shareable and the Salmon. The staff were attentive and the service was awesome. Thank you Luma!

Great food and ambience! Music was fun but very loud, so if you want to be able to converse while eating, maybe do not select that option while booking.
